This is an interesting model in that it offered several features that were not currently found on Mustangs at the time. Among the features that made this an instant classic with a new generation of hot rod collectors during the 1980s were the aerodynamic chin spoilers, wheels and hood scoop, as well as the custom seating, steering and fuel injection enhancements.
